The Province wants you to gain more business in 2020

If you are a business owner in the Western Cape, here is your once in a lifetime opportunity for you to develop yourself and win big business!

Smart Procurement World, The City of Cape Town and it’s provincial partners aim to support a number of chosen businesses through training and by giving them entrance to market. The 7th Annual Enterprise and Supplier Development Expo 2020 is the region’s largest linkage platform for small business and the procurement and supply chain industry and we are giving them the opportunity to be there.

The Smart Supplier programme aims to grow these businesses by enabling them to engage effectively with a corporate supply chain. This step by step development process takes suppliers through their engagement strategies and ultimately results in an improvement of supplier performance.

Would you like to be selected to participate?

We are looking for:

  • An entrepreneur who has been in operation for a minimum of 18 months, A 1% black owned and managed business with high growth potential that is scalable with a sustainable competitive advantage.
  • A compliant business that is aligned with core industries or specific sectors.
  • A registered business.
  • An entrant based in the Western Cape who is able to attend training in Cape Town.
What will you need to provide?
  • CIPC registration forms as proof of ownership.
  • A completed application form to be considered.
Accepted applicants will be required to complete an Acceptance Agreement, which is a commitment to the programme. Applications close on 15 February 2020.
